I’m a huge reader and will collapse into a book at the first available opportunity.  Here’s a list of my favourite Healthcare books that I’ve read in 2015 (so far).

Atul Gawande
Kindle Edition
Sold by: Macmillan
A real page turner.  Compassionate, caring and above all, human. My views of patient engagement and how it is influenced by the patient’s age are formed from this book.

Eric Topol
Kindle Edition
Sold by: Amazon Digital Services, Inc.
Eric’s work is always right on the money.  A futurist at heart, he plots a landscape of healthcare today and to come.

Robert Wachter
Kindle Edition
Sold by: Amazon Digital Services, Inc.
Love this one.  A must read. I have always been interested in safety critical systems and Robert knows this field well.

Jonathan Bush, Stephen Baker
Kindle Edition
Sold by: Penguin Publishing
Self aggrandizing, political, and very Jonathan Bush. If you can get past that it has a lot of interesting ideas.

Ethan Zuckerman
Kindle Edition
Sold by: Amazon Digital Services, Inc.
Want to get a better handle on the digital age in general?  This is the book.  If you read with a healthcare focus there is a lot of insight to be had.

Bertalan Mesko
Kindle Edition
Sold by: Amazon Digital Services, Inc.
Not bad.  Worth a look.

Jody Ranck
Kindle Edition
Sold by: Amazon Digital Services, Inc.
Moderately ok.  Probably not something you’d buy but borrow from the library.

David Shaywitz, Lisa Suennen
Kindle Edition
Sold by: Amazon Digital Services, Inc.
Just ok.  I sort of fell asleep towards the end.
